According to the legislation of the Republic of Turkiye, all international students enrolling in long-term educational programs are required to obtain a student visa, regardless of the visa regulations between Turkey and the student’s country of citizenship.

Admission letter from the Academy of Tourism

Tuition payment receipt

Tuition agreement

International passport with a validity of at least 6 months from the date of departure to Turkiye and containing at least 2 blank pages.

Copy of the first page of the international passport

Photocopy of the internal passport (cover page + page with residential address) or ID card

Two biometric photographs (on a white background, full-face, ears visible, with a clear view of the face), sized 5 x 6 cm.

Diploma from the most recent educational institution, along with academic transcripts.

If a parent’s bank statement is provided: a handwritten sponsorship letter from the parent, along with a copy of the parent’s passport or ID card.

A document indicating the parents’ information (for example, a birth certificate or a copy of the relevant page in the passport).

For children under 18 years old: a notarized parental consent for the child’s travel signed by both parents. If the parents are divorced, a court decision regarding custody of the child, along with a copy.

Proof of accommodation in Turkiye (if residing on campus, this document will be provided to you by the Academy).

Application Deadlines

Important: The approved visa can only be collected from the consulate where the application was submitted, and must be obtained before entering Turkiye.

Visa and Residence Permit Application Process

Step 1: Temporary Residence Permit

After arriving in the country, the student is required to apply for a residence permit within 30 days. The Academy of Tourism in Antalya provides full support with the document submission process. The student must submit all required documents within one month of entry.

Step 2: Booking an Appointment

Book an appointment at the visa center or consulate. Find out the exact amount of the visa fee you are required to pay.

Step 3: Documents Submission

Visit the Turkish consulate or visa application center in your country. The addresses are listed below.

Step 4: Paying for Tuition

The Academy of Tourism will provide you with the necessary documents for obtaining a student visa. You must submit the set of document to the visa application center in your city or the nearest one to you. For more details, please refer to the “Visa Application” section.

Step 5: Passport Collection

Collect your passport. Visa centers often offer courier delivery services for passports.

For Russian citizens

Since January 30, 2023, visa applications for Turkiye must be submitted at the visa application centers at the following addresses in the Russian Federation.
